Looking Grim...
Any circumstances you can imagine how I came up with this image are wrong..
I was driving through Stockbridge in the taxi. It's was dark and pouring with rain. The Sunday market was starting to pack their stalls away after what must've been a dismal day for them.
I ventured in thinking this could well be the only chance I might have for my blip tonight. I had tried a few people in their stalls before I got to my blip with poor effects. I thought even although it was dark that the light in the stall above the subjects head would be enough to give me a good exposure but I just couldn't get it right so I confess for the second time only since I got the Canon d100 in May, I took a photo in Auto.
There was this guy (pictured above) letting people sample wine. I asked him if I could take his pic and he was fine about it. He even struck this pose for me and nice guy he was reminded me not to get my camera wet. I had the feeling he knew it wasn't in the least waterproof.
How nice a guy he was doesn't really reflect how I've made him look in the photo.
