Red sky in the morning . . .

This was definitely the best bit of the day!  Well worth getting up for.  

It wasn't cold, just very wet.  The ditches are already full, overflowing in places, washing stones and mud down onto the road.  You can tell it's winter by the pile of wet and muddy dog towels accumulating by the washing machine.  Washing them is one thing, getting them dry is another!

Spent the afternoon listening to the radio and knitting.  Perfect weather for it!
