That Would Have Made Margot Leadbetter Proud

A fab morning out competing with Johnny and all our hard work is paying off as we came away with winning red rosettes and our highest score yet...Sushi was top groom once again!

This afternoon Eldest and I went to our local, slightly bonkers antique barn (oft frequented in Antiques Roadtrip) where they have a new tea room, well a 1962 truck converted into a tearoom...complete with a record player and selection of vinyls to play.

My Mum used to make a lot of her own and our clothes (including my bridesmaids dresses), but she couldn't go freestyle, she had to use a pattern...so she used to have boxes of them, just like these...many from the glamorous 70's that would have made Margo Leadbetter proud.
