Remembrance Sunday

The "Last Post" got to me more than usual this year, as did the Graham Kendrick song "Beauty for Brokenness" in the service, but it was "Pick n Mix" so there was fun to be had too.  Mightily impressed by the imagination of some of the people who prepare the crafts for these services - beautiful poppies made from the base of pop bottles - they looked wonderful, but until going home I didn't realise my camera was in my bag so didn't photograph them!  Poppy wreaths at the war memorial, plus close up of the wreaths, church window and poppy crosses in extras.
