Discing and Harrowing

It has been persistently wet for the past week, which has made it near impossible for Farmerboy to sow crops.  This afternoon the sun came out, so son T got in the tractor and set to discing and harrowing the paddocks, while Farmerboy and myself milked. 

Unfortunately the ground was still a bit wet, which means that the paddock will need yet another disc and harrow before the maize seed is drilled into the ground.  Rain again is forecast for most of the coming week, so everything will be delayed once again, which is very frustrating.  But that's farming.....and there's not a lot we can do about it.
