Welcome to New York proper!

Our first full day started with breakfast at the hotel. I enjoyed the option to make a burrito but Dad found the lack of mushrooms a little challenging. Once he had managed to satisfy his hunger we headed to the top of the rock to enjoy the view.
After keeping my appointment we walked of the subway up to Central Park to hire bikes. It was lovely to cycle around the parkas we stopped for lunch at the boathouse. The fries were lovely.
After riding around the entire park and visiting strawberry fields we returned the bikes and found time for some shopping.
In the evening we went for dinner and then watched the Radio Music hall, Christmas Spectacular which was interesting. It included real camels, a highlight.
