When you combine old friends with a Mo, a cravat and a couple of bottles of wine you end up with a whole evening of fun. All innocent. Honestly guv. Which reminds me, we ended up googling the meaning of "spiv" - a surprising controversial word of uncertain provenance. One theory is the police used it as an acronym for "suspicious person, itinerant, vagrant". This seems less likely than other more colloquial explanations.

An evening with Mr and Mrs Bear rarely disappoints. 

As for the rest, had a haircut this morning, followed by gossip, coffee and bagels in the Santa Fe with an old colleague. Came home feeling a bit tired, went to bed and slept soundly for a couple of hours then did some whirlwind domestic duty before putting my feet up whilst TSM made shortcake.

So all in all, a good day.
