A Yearly Tradition

My Dear Fellow,

It is around this time of year, every year for as long as I can remember, that these three gentlemen start to appear on the side of busses.

I'm not sure if they actually do anything else.

Of course, all going according to plan, this will be my last year of Gray, Stewart and Stott, so I thought I'd immortalise the moment. 

You do realise I'm not going though, right? I mean, it's not like I'm anti-Panto or anything, just that it's not my thing. But I do remember a funny fellow named Colin coming into work at Scottish Govt. and telling me the best panto joke he'd heard with his kids. It was from "Peter Pan & The Pirates". Are you ready for this?

PIRATE 1: What are buccaneers?
PIRATE 2: They're the things on the side of your buccan' heid.

I can't believe they got away with that. But this is Scotland after all. I shall miss it.
