Damp squib

Even though it was raining I ascended Primrose Hill for the Royal Mayor's Show Annual Fireworks.

We waited and we waited. Umbrella, tripod, long lens.

Finally we heard the bangs but saw nothing. This display was very small in comparison to New Year's Eve, not even a glow in the sky.
