MILA

11.6C and bright. Some good sunny spells. Some heavy showers around lunchtime. Moderate WNW/W breeze.

After lunch and between heavy short showers Maeve the Deerhound and I went for the repeat of our usual morning walking route across the road and round to the park and the harbour and back along through town.

The cargo ship MILA was at the new quay. The fishing boats were all still tied up round the old quay but the fish farm boats were gone. Just one of the naval vessels was still out in the loch.

Afternoon telly ... Autumn test match. Rugby Union. Scotland v Australia. A disappointing loss for Scotland after having been in the lead most of the game.
