We will remember them

The whole school went to Ely Cathedral today for the Remembrance Day service. As always, wonderful music and singing, and a poignant reading out of the names of those old boys and Masters and choristers who died in conflict, followed by the silence as poppies rained down from the Octagon tower roof. Noticed the light through the stained glass while waiting to return to school. A damp evening.
