Souvenir

I bought this on my recent road trip with Rob through the southwest.  The birds hand carved by a fellow named Cleve Lewis in Angel Fire, New Mexico.  Who knows why some things just speak to a person, but this one spoke to me.  Mr. Lewis gathers various weathered woods from the mountains on his walks and then creates art pieces.  This one reminded me of my many trips to the shore to photograph gulls, especially the trips with my blip buddy Mary Jo.
