Christmas illumination

Two surprises today we didn't expect: blue weather and the day to be a public holiday. We should have known from our time in Paris, that 11th November is remembering the end of WW1. We took Velibs (self-service bike system) and crossed the city to stroll around Rue du Bac and then all the way back on foot. The famous Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré has already the Christmas illumination installed, here with the Palais de l'Élysée in the background.
