Christmas concert

One important part of our Christmas traditions is Ylioppilaskunnan laulajat concert in Johannes church in Helsinki. The concert was nice, but I just can't stop wondering about people who have to cough very loud between every song. It is as the breaks between songs are meant for coughing. It is unbelievable, I found it very funny. There was this old lady sitting behind us giving really loud coughing solos after every song. People don't applaud after songs; probably because it is somehow serious Christmas concert held in a church, but I guess the coughing kind of replaces the need of applauses.
