Rejoice with me, my blip friends! For I have conquered one of my fears and insecurities.

It might have taken longer than expected, but growth is growth, and such achievement should be rejoiced over.

As this picture is depicting, I once did feel that far away from the man I love. His confidence in knowing how much he loves me from just one month of dating me (what!) scared me. So I ran. I ran while still looking back at him. Running then became a fast walk. Then finally, a stop.

I have come to terms with my insecurities as well. This man's past is no longer something that will control me, because as Jesus has forgiven my past, I will do the same. Instead of just pushing it aside, I will guard it with my heart.

I know I still have a lot to learn by myself and with him, but it is nice to know you are not learning about life by yourself anymore.

Thank you, Jesus, for what was once a painful lesson became a life long worth learned lesson that has been an encouragement for others as well.
