Threats of Violence

When I walked home from the gym this morning in this soothing fog, I had only heard of one incidence of a threat of violence to someone in my neighborhood. By the end of the day it was three. Three. One was against a woman with a Hillary bumper sticker, one against a white woman who adopted three black children, and one a FaceBook post to a Muslim woman telling her he was okay with what Trump had planned for her. Two of these are people I know. After reeling for a few hours, I was surprised at my strong reaction to a republican sister's casual email to me about the importance of the electoral college. It was a hit below the belt. I told her about these incidences and asked to be left alone. No more emails to me.
