Cobbles

Another cold, wet day. Would have been good to go home from work and relax, but 'twas not to be. With a busy weekend in the offing, we decided to do the supermarket shopping this evening. First, MrM drove us down to Alnmouth, where we walked on the beach by torchlight. We had hoped to walk by moonlight, but clouds covered the moon as soon as we set foot on the sand, and then the rain started. C'est la vie!

In to Alnwick for a meal at Carlo's, and a quick blip of the wet cobbles by streetlight, before tackling the shopping. Took advantage of the supermarket's pre-Christmas offer and bought a few bottles of wine for the festive season. Where did September and October go?
