The Tibuna of the Uffizi

I went to the Queen's Gallery to see the Portrait of An Artist exhibition.   I've always admired this painting by Johan Joseph Zoffanny (1733 - 1810), and there it was!
This painting depicts the reception of art.   In the painting a group of connoisseurs dressed in their finery gather to admire and discuss the collection which includes works by Titian, Raphael and Rubens
