Final standings

Juno walked on the lead round the streets.

Work attended.

Spent most of the reflecting on the year of coaching the 17s and how I can never put into words at the awards how well the girls have played and developed as individuals and a team.

Here is my attempt.

Having a squad of only 12 and with the help of the u15s you competed exceptional and played wonderful football all season. Your spirit was wonderful , determination and commitment outstanding.

My moments of the season:

Muriesron at home when you all decided the shape and how you were going to play the game, from that game on you all took the decisions on game days....empowered. spirit to get 1:1 draw against Spartans after a tough Scottish cup defeat against them.

Amy: that tackle against hibs, outstanding reactionary save to stop an og to keep us in the last game of season.

Morgan: helping the team and playing in defence and making the position your own. Endless overlap runs and crosses up the right.

Beth: goal line clearance against Spartans from no where. Reading of the game and leadership.

Sophie: corner champion with great goals. Fantastic control from high balls with confidence to take touch and pass on.

Lawrie: leadership and leading by example. Scoring goals from deep runs with a cracker to end season on a high.

Taylor: played all outfield positions and helped team by playing in defence. Magic left foot shots in the last game.

Chloe: that well taken goal. Helping team out by saying in goals.

Lauren: headed goal from great run. Stunning quick shot against hearts.

Caitlin: tireless running and coming back after a horrible injury. 2 goals against linluthgow.

Robin: tricks, tricks tricks being surprised what you tried. Your effort and determination in last game for the team.

Katie: great goals from distance with both feet, Spartans 1:1 goal Boundless energy and determination.

Elena: great dribbling and feet to score important goals. Watching you play for Scotland with your teammates supporting you.

Thanks again for a great season, I have learnt so much from you all throughout the season. You helped me when I was not feeling that great and pulled me out of my gloominess.

Your commitment with helping out the adult team as well is much appreciated. I wish you all the best and hopefully you will continue to play football.

Thanks girls.
