Fawn

A trip to Addenbrookes Hospital today for a late morning appointment for my husband. We then had coffee and looked at a Pathology display on the concourse before retuning home for a late lunch.  As I was clearing the dishes I noticed that there were three Fallow deer in the garden. I had taken a picture of Hoppy earlier and a male pheasant, but decided that today’s picture would be of this little fawn; a new addition this year I think. It was taken through the kitchen window and as it was very close to the window, part of the window frame got in the way!  

At the risk of mentioning that word, this early in November, my contact at Naked Wines telephoned this afternoon to tell me that the Christmas case was now available; it has been ordered.
