Surprise, surprise

NOT - Was well forecast. This was the scene at 8:30am when it had stopped. After doing the horses and letting them out to roll about in it and gallop around ploughing up the field, set about emptying all our large 1000 and 300 litre water containers and turning off all water supplies outside the house. A time consuming job trying to run the water in to ditches. Necessary though as it is due t be cold tonight, possibly -8°C or so. also checked up with Tractor Max if he had put antifreeze in the new tractor engine. 

Eventually did the dog walk in the protection of Ottobeurens forest, Like every year I forgot that when the sun comes out after wet snow which is hanging on the leaves, the pleasant European forest turns in to a good Amazonian Rain Forest. See extra photo.
