Remarkable Trees (5)

Spring is on the way!

I have noticed blossoms on a few trees this week and I think spring is on the way. The amazing transformation of a bare, dead-looking tree into one of beautiful blossoms makes this tree an entrant in my remarkable trees series. The combination of these colours is a favourite of mine.

We woke up to hear that our friend was ill and they had called an ambulance to fetch him. Mr G quickly dressed and rushed over to their house to assist. He was taken to the clinic where they found he had a serious bladder and kidney infection and they started him on antibiotics. Mr G stayed with their two boys until their Granny arrived and then brought the younger one home to play with our boys. It is always scary for children when parents get sick. They have been a bit out of luck this year. Their older son had an accident on his motocross bike and broke his leg very badly about 6 weeks ago.

We have booked to go to the clubhouse tonight with friends for the buffet dinner. I look forward to an enjoyable evening.
