Outside the hospital

The place where we are staying is called the Maharishi Ayurveda Hospital. It is more like a clinic than a hospital as we know it. This is what it looks like from the outside. My room is above the car on the top floor on the RHS. We have started some new treatments, most notably a lovely one where warm oil is poured slowly over you by two technicians in waves up and down your arms or legs or body or back. The area is then massaged, one tech on each side both working in unison. To achieve this one has to clamber up a couple of steps into a shallow wooden 'bath' tilted at a slight angle, which causes much hilarity until one learns the knack, when one turns over and zooms down the slippery slope to the other end. The sides are about 12-15 cms high and the whole thing is about waist high. After this slightly funny but rather heavenly experience one is left to rest for about 15 mins of the most relaxing sleep even though it is in reality first thing in the morning not long after breakfast.
