Why We Fight For A Better World.....

FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THE CHILDREN!

It's taken me all day to decide what to post here from the aftermath of a very heartbreaking election result here in the USA.   So I posted on FB the following and then for blip put a collection of children --my own and my grandkids and other family member's kids.

The USA by electing a man whose speech and actions are divisive , bullying, and hateful has shown its true colors. The rest of us (and we won the popular vote) must hold on to hope and continue the good fight for equality, for inclusiveness, for universal health care, for the rights of minority's , peoples of ALL faiths, for the rights of those with disabilities, LGBT rights and most of all FOR Our CHILDREN!


I chose this song by Bob Dylan and sung by Odetta   Paths of Victory   I think it very appropriately tells of the struggle that has and continues to go on for the betterment of humanity. As Hillary said in her concession speech the America she cherishes and I do too...is "Hopeful, Inclusive, and Big - Hearted"!!!  So we shall fight the good fight and continue on!  As one man said  "I've lived through Jim Crow...I can live through Donald Trump".
