Quite possibly

The coolest dog you could ever hope to meet. He's also got paws like a lion's.

Ticking jobs off the list, others keep jumping on. Am grateful for teaching all day, because that's the good bit, mostly!

After late finish, I went over to Lisa's, had lovely soup and lots of bread, a good chinwag and supported her business launch. Was nice to spend some time with her and James away from school.

Definitely in agreement that staying in this profession is not looking like a viable option in the long run, not if we intend to have a family life and time for doing things other than work related stuff. No matter how much I love teaching, I don't think I have the energy to maintain the hours that are needed to do it well, not for another 12 years till early retirement, or 17 years till official retirement.
