First snows

It has been cold and dry so far this Autumn but the last couple of days have seen the wind swing round to the North.
Last night there was enough threat for me to park at the top of the slope. In fact, the snow line was at around 800' and so on top of the Howgills but not on us.
I chose today to clean out the work freezer, in the garage! It was a pretty chilly job! At least the food wasn't melting though.
This morning we heard that the Americans have elected a misogynistic multimillionaire crook as their next president. Strange year this is turning out to be.
