Hey Mickey!

Just like on June 24th, we awoke to the news.  I couldn’t believe it, but deep down I knew that everything was possible in America.  I spent the rest of the day not really thinking about what has happened.

I had to leave work early as I was the parent helper at BB’s badminton tonight.  I haven’t been a helper for ages, so it was nice to be able to watch BB play, as he is a much stronger player than when I last watched him play. 

After badminton we had a quick run around the supermarket before we came home for tea and homework.  BB was quite diligent with his homework which was a nice change. 

I haven’t done much tonight, but I did chat to BB about the new American President.  He is not impressed with the outcome.

BB has suggested that Mickey mouse could be President one day!
