Even after our experience you had to believe that a similar mistake couldn't be made somewhere else. How wrong were we.

Woken at 03:30 by a push notification from the BBC on my phone - should have ignored it, could have ignored it but didn't of course. Picked up the phone checked the new and thought WTF! It wasn't a done deal by then but all the signs were there so it wasn't big news or a surprise to hear the final result in the morning. Let's just hope all our fears prove to be unjustified.
