Strawberry Fields

Back to Central Park today to pick up Andys finishers t.shirt so decided to seek out Strawberry Fields.
This is the memorial to John Lennon. Quite a beautiful place. So nice to hear people singing his songs there.
Missed going to the history museum I wanted to go to as we had to meet up with Alex to give him the flight documents so he could get a temporary passport to get him home. It cost £100 and can only be used the once.
We then went to Ground Zero. Quite something. I saw it when it first happened. We had a trip booked. We postponed it but 10 month later the devastation was still there. It was nice to see the memorials and new buildings.
Out for a meal in the evening with the other runners. Andy and I walked around 9 miles today. His legs were fine. The youngsters could hardly walk. It was quite funny watching them walk John Wayne like.
