Sheared Off

The arrival of the roofers. The neighbour’s attic is checked. eventually we decide it may be water from walls soaked by the original leak as it only appears overnight when the temperature outside drops. We’ll get a dehumidifier in.
Then off to chat to the daughter and fit a couple of brake cables on her bike. And pick up the dehumidifier. It’s so big I can hardly get it up the stairs but it’s soon doing the business, drying my eyeballs as soon as I enter the room.
So, over to the boat. Hull cleaning!! Except the pressure cleaner spray gun is fookt. I attempt to disassemble it and fix it. It's well fookt.
What's also f**kt is our language. Heard on Radio Scotland: a football pundit opines that Andy Murray may be 'our best sportsman scottishwise'! Oh Lordy.
