Lollipop Speak

For the uninitiated, these are wigwags.  My boss turned them on for me after I'd complained that cars were ignoring me.  Only problem was, I couldn't turn the blessed things off.  I gather they do run out of steam and turn themselves off eventually.  I'm not sure they do any good.  It's just another distraction for drivers, and a lot of them wouldn't know what they signify anyway.  More usefully, she promised to send out the No Excuses team who will monitor the site and fine offenders.
