Foot print

Well we've done hand prints before, so today we tried foot prints.  CyclopsJnr enjoyed having his foot loaded up with paint and stamping it onto paper on the floor, but of course the opportunity to paint Mummy's foot was considered the most hilarious.  Did you know that paint wipes right off a smooth toddler foot, but takes about ten minutes to scrub off the gnarly foot of an old 30-something?

It was a horrible cold rainy day.  A haircut for CyclopsJnr had been booked in but they cancelled on the day, which messed up plans and we ended up staying in.  We played with every toy in the house, watched TV, painted, briefly biked, cooked some scrambled eggs together, looked at the CBeebies website, watched music videos on Youtube, played shops, messed about with a clarinet... basically every thing MrsCyclops had in her arsenal.  Better think up some new tricks for the rest of Autumn and Winter!
