Misty Farewell
Thick fog covered the village first thing in the morning so a dawn shoot was out of the question. However during our last hearty breakfast at the hotel the fog started to lift and by the time I had said my fond farewells and loaded the car the sun was breaking through creating lovely golden rays. Cameras were all packed away so I popped across the road with my compact and snapped one of my favourite pics. of the trip.
On the way to the ferry at Lymington I stopped off for a walk in the New Forest where the colours were not as intense as Exmoor. I didn't take many photos. but rather liked the one in the extras where the ferns and trees seemed to be having a bit of a knees up.
