Another birthday treat.

A friend took me out for a late birthday lunch to the Grim's Dyke Hotel a couple of miles away. The hotel is famous for the fact that W.S Gilbert ( of Gilbert and Sullivan fame) lived here and drowned in the lake while trying to rescue a girl. The house has been used as a location for many TV films including The Avengers.
