Praying for peace

I've been awake for a while and whatever else happens today, it will be under the shadow of the result of the election across the Pond. Like the Scottish Independence referendum and EU referendum, I imagine that this result will bring deep division. So my prayer is for the people on the streets, the everyday ordinary people going around their everyday ordinary lives, that they extend love and grace to each other.
