Before the fall

Interestingly the current American usage of "Fall" predates the British usage on "Autumn" in the English language. At the moment these leaves on a station tree haven't fallen anywhere, though if we get wind and rain tonight thing may look different in the morning.

After blipping this on my way into work I had a surprise when I arrived at work, the building was on emergency lighting only, it appears that most of south Basingstoke was without power. The ETA to restore power was about 2-3 hours so I was temped to go home and work from there, but as I was letting by team lead know (he was at home anyway) the power came on so I stayed at work.
