Village Tree

I'd been into town to unload the car after the weekend craft fair and put the studio back to rights. As I was driving home this tree was brightly lit by the midday sun. I parked the car at home and walked back with the camera.

Clouds had blown across the sun but I knew it wouldn't be long before they would soon clear so I waited. 

A bittersweet day awaits us tomorrow.
