Whale of a time

A courtyard surrounded by tall university buildings next to a whale skeleton is not the place to be trying to get signal on a satellite phone. Let's hope it fares better in the wilds of South Sudan where there are fewer high rises.

Election Day tension. Struck up a conversation at lunch with a woman who thought that the one area Trump would succeed is with the economy, to stop jobs being outsourced overseas and to boost the US economy. To me that faith seems fairly blind and due to his status as a businessman, rather than on any convincing statement he's made. When challenged on whether he'll divert his investments to the US and not China or Mexico he doesn't say yes, just flips the conversation to Hillary's email server or defeating ISIS.
