Farewell to Dorset

We're on the train home now after a lovely few days in Dorset. This morning we visited RSPB Radipole, which is pretty much in the centre of Weymouth. It is a very nice reserve with some open water and a lot of reed beds. The highlight for me was a kingfisher, and Mr PB was lucky enough to spot a Water Vole. The visitor centre there is a particularly attractive building with a thatched roof with straw swan sculptures atop, and this stunning Marsh Harrier mural on its wall. It's dark now and there is nothing to see from the train window, so I'll be glad to get home.
