We had one of those days where everything went smoothly.  We went for a walk along the beach this morning, the tide was going out, there was no wind and the sun was shining. There's not a much better way to spend a morning I'm sure.  
We went into Geelong this afternoon for an appointment at the hospital to see about his hernia that seems to have disappeared.  Good news so far, he'll have a scan in January and hopefully that'll be that. Perhaps the original scan was wrong.  
This is a picture of him watching a helicopter taking off.  He watched it until there was but a blip in the sky.
