Aoraki/Mount Cook and the Tasman River
Today I headed up country with a fellow Focus member to try to spy and photography the endangered Black Stilt/Kaki on the edges of Lake Pukaki where it meets the Tasman River.
We were lucky to see a pair of young Kaki, feeding on the river braids. Well worth the wet boots, trousers, socks etc. The views weren't too bad either...
