it's over

Well, that's it: the summer holidays are officially over and +1/3 and +2/3 are off back to school. New uniforms, new shoes, back to see their friends, talk nineteen to the dozen, eat school dinner, have fun and hopefully learn something.

Our local school is currently undergoing serious work to extend it and so there are a series of portacabins on what were the playing fields. "Ah" I said; "you're getting your compulsary spell in portacabins over and done with nice and young." I'm sure the children will grow to love the changes in temperature and the slight dampness that always seems to creep in...
