Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday

Food consumed today:
3 slices of cinnamon toast dripping with Lurpak
1 bowl of cheesy pasta salad (with self added mayo and mature cheese)
1 Packet of Prawn Cocktail Seabrook crinkle cut crisps
14 sautéed potatoes
1 large plate of homemade veggie chilli
1/7 of a bar of posh rose flavoured chocolate
36 chocolate hazelnuts covered in pralines and dipped in cocoa (consumed at 3.37am so really don't count in todays total)
87 mini extra strong sugar free mints
4 litres of water

Evening. Mossley: My house. Day at work was made less rubbish by knowing that MY actual real life Boyfriend Mr Darcy was coming round to cook me a romantic meal tonight.

I struggled on through a day of usual librarian high jinks, book stamping, shushing, looking over my glasses and browsing through twinset and pearl catalogues knowing that come 4.47pm I was outta there!

5.45pm Darcy arrived bang on time...carrying all the shopping (that he'd done himself!) ..including kidney beans [BLIP] with a few special extras including cupcakes for me and Wotsits (also for me)

Then he prepared and cooked our meal from scratch. He talked a little bit of Italian while he did it. The diet went out of the window when I was presented with his veggie Chilli and sautéed potatoes. He didn't even mind when I licked the plate clean.

9.30pm D ordered me to relax, have a glass of wine (or two! Oops naughty Kate) and said "You've been working all day...take it easy"

Of course so had he...but I wasn't going to argue.

9.45pm - midnight. Darcy and I sat outside with the candles lit and watched the stars and bats, I got educated in the ways of Jazz and we made plans.
Big plans. THE plans.
