Sir Peter Jacksons Great war Display

My father in law and I went to Wellington for the day to view this display. The weather was crap and the museum was closed till 1 pm due to some dignitaries going through the display so we trudged off into the rain soaked streets to waste some time before going back for a look around 4 hours later. Well I will not be walking around in the rain again for a while as I have had quite enough for a lifetime.  And my rain jacket has  become non waterproof as I could feel water dribbling down inside my sleeve. However the display is worth the discomfort of the day, I think  many hours would be needed to view it as I could not absorb much more info after 2 1/2 hours there. All the images were colourised from black  and whites and this bought the men to life and much more real, the diorama's were amazing, the figurines lifesize, actual size mother tank, a biplane strung from the ceiling and the team of horses and men pulling a field gun. If you get the chance. go see it.
