Hermitage of Braid
This afternoon I went for my walk in the Hermitage of Braid. I love the Hermitage of Braid. There's a burn so I get to go splish, splash, sploshing. There are lots of trees so I get to go scrunching through all the leaves. And there's squirrels – zillions of squirrels so I get to go chasing. Yay! I'm having a lovely time in Edinburgh and so is Ann....................
….............This morning she went back to IKEA and had a very yummy breakfast and cup of coffee for £2.25 to buy a few picture frames and other bits. And this evening she's just been out with her friend Janice to the 'Booking Office' where they've had a yummy meal. Just about to watch 'Dark Angel' now. Isn't that a fabulous drama?
…..........And in other news...................... Ann has decided to accept the job at the local rugby club, rather than do agency hospitality work at 'prestigious' events. There are two reasons for this:
1) She gets to oggle hunky rugby players work at the same place all the time which only takes 20 mins to walk to, and
2) After doing a 'trial' shift on Saturday night; there is absolutely no way that she could cope with having to work with different tills every time she went somewhere new??!! The till at the rugby club requires one to have a degree in technology to operate it? Why can no one add up in their heads these days?
3) I know I said there were 2 reasons but reason 3 is............................... gorgeous little collie dogs are allowed in the bar. Yay!
So next shift for her is Wednesday and she's told them that she doesn't do working for more than 4-5 hours at a time and they're fine with that. In fact they seem very flexible so everything is good.
Yippee!!!
