New Noseday

Today I photographed two operations to make new noses. This was the first one - the pen marks show where the surgeon is going to make his incisions. The skin from the forehead will be used as the skin to cover the framework of the new nose. the new nose will be made out of one of this man's ribs. You can see the almost finished nose in the extra photo. It's one of my favourite operations to watch, to photograph and then to see the patient's face later on in the day when they look in the mirror :-)
