Perfect timing

I was just opening the kitchen door to take last week's flowers out to the bin when there was a knock at front door and there was a smiling person delivering these.
It's nice to be appreciated.
Speaking of which Mr EAnn was back to work today so I've had a quiet day catching up with the housework but he got back to discover he had a little award at work for his exceptional contribution. A pay rise would have been better.
