Foot in mouth

What an unbelievable day in the garden!  First thing this morning the hare returned to his preening spot under the Cordyline and began smartening himself up, then hopped off.  Then the Woodcock reappeared and recommenced his search for worms!  In the pic of him you can just see one going into his mouth (enlarge) having been sucked up out of the soft earth.  He was there for nearly two hours.  Then there was a gobsmacking moment when the hare hopped back into the garden and sat by some flowers about 20 feet from the Woodcock.  neither one was the least bit bothered.  For those who don't believe me I've dropped both pics onto the garden shot (snapper).
