Mono Monday 146 :: Mm146 :: Hot

To continue the transport theme in Hong Kong this is the Hong Kong to Macau road bridge. I took a local ferry from Tai O to Tung Chung which means we passed under it. I have watched it being built over the past few years on my visits.

If you look at where I was on the map and to where this bridge goes to you'll get the scale of the project. It is debatable whether it is needed and as only duel registered cars (HK & Macau) will be allowed on it very few will. It must be having an impact on the very rare pink dolphins in these parts too.
