Our first day in New York

My first time in New York, first time in USA and first time I've been on the 30th floor of anything (in this case our hotel room).

After a problem free journey, and good luck with getting a really friendly Haitian taxi driver from our journey from JFK to our hotel, our holiday was off to a great start.

NYC is hot and humid, and within an hour or so of arriving, we're buying umbrellas to shelter us from a heavy downpour. Our hotel in Times Square, is a haven because as soon as we step out onto the street, we are carried along with the masses of other tourist there.

It is like walking through a film set!!!
